Who Are We?
We are a Reformed Evangelical community of Gen-Z teens who strive to live for Christ amidst this fallen world, and bring many other teens in our generation to Christ. We believe Jesus Christ is the one and only hope for mankind and we aim to share this hope to all the teens out there.
What is the ‘RE Generation-Z Convention’?
The RE Generation-Z Convention gathers teens from all over Sydney in fellowship and worship. We connect with one another as a community of Gen-Z teens, delve deeper into God’s Word and in those few days, strengthen our relationship with Him. In this convention we will explore the theme of ‘BeREal’. Through multiple sessions across the four days we will delve into Gen-Z’s 7 most greatest struggles. It’s time to address our generation’s problems, to ‘BeREal’ with ourselves, and realise how we in fact have only one solution to our current dilemma: Jesus Christ. So come and join us – and let’s ‘BeREal’ together!
RE Generation-Z’s 2023 Convention will be held on the 11th – 14th of April 2023 at Kiah Ridge Christian Conference Centre. Registration opens on the 8th of January and closes on the 27th of March.
Note: Early bird prices of $300 end on the 13th of March. Regular prices of $350 will be charged from then on.
As we near the start of the convention, there are some new details (such as packing lists and pre-convention briefings) that would be useful to know. The link to the Google Form (mentioned on Page 3 of the Handbook) is linked here and you can find the handbook here.
As a part of the convention, parental consent is required to attend. This, along with a media consent form can be found here. Please read through and submit the form by Monday, 3rd of April by replying to the email you were sent or to this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Will there be visits to places other than Kiah Ridge?
The accomodation is at Kiah Ridge Christian Conference Centre, Tahmoor. We will have supervision across all general areas around the whole site.
We will stay in Kiah Ridge for the whole 4 days with a short stop (tentative, information regarding where will be emailed closer to the date) on the way from Sydney to Kiah Ridge on the first day. Otherwise, we will have all sessions and activities within the Kiah Ridge site.
Who will be supervising?
There will be a few guardians that we will have with all the attendees at all times, here is a contact number for one of them. Nancy Haryanto (0415576648) is one of the teens group leaders at IREC Sydney.
How will the rooms be allocated?
The allocation of all the rooms will be on average 6 people per room and will be shared with other attendees of the same gender.
